A1 is a group of different businesses, that was established in 1999 to provide a cost effective solution for you by providing hands on business support and training.

We are passionate about our role of supporting your business to be efficient, profitable and successful. Our vision is to be the most valued provider of our services by our customers and network of contacts. We have built our business on being systematic in our approach, supportive of our clients, respected by others and considerate of our customers needs at all times.

 Mike Foster 

Mike  is the Director of the A1 Group of Companies, which he established in 1999 following a training and business skills based career in business banking, with additional experience from senior management positions in the leisure industry and whilst undertaking senior leadership roles in the charitable sector with Rotary.

Mike is a member of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs and is certificated by www.getmentoring.org

He has a wide range of experience in the small business market, whilst holding various positions with a major high street bank. Mike was trained at the Warwick University school of business, holds his financial qualification with the Chartered Institute of Bankers and has a diploma in Sales and Marketing.

As well as managing the businesses and the team, Mike is active with client work and his own qualifications also include being an MICB CB.Dip certified & qualified Bookkeeper, whilst holding a practising certificate with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, and is also a qualified, HSE & QCA approved instructor to deliver first aid courses.

Mike is an active speaker on a range of topics including marketing, finance, business development and business start up.
He is also the Co Producer of two DVD's, www.firstaiddvd.co.uk and www.startyourownbusinessdvd.co.uk

His interests are his voluntary work, where he has held the post of National Chairman for the voluntary organisation - Rotaract, covering Great Britain and Ireland. He is a past president of his local Rotary club and Chamber of Commerce. Other interests include football and rugby.
